Our Name
Telemachus was the son of Odysseus and Penelope from Greek mythology. Odysseus is said to have left Ithaca for the Trojan War and was not heard from for twenty years. Gods and Kings of the time conspired to protect and educate Telemachus in Odysseus' absence. He in turn used the education to increase his family's wealth and safety. When Odysseus finally returns to Ithaca he finds his family's estate, far from being stolen by usurpers or wasted by mismanagement, had grown significantly.
